Kentfield is a little slice of heaven and some of the most gorgeous homes can be found here. Often built on larger plots of land, they can offer residents a little more privacy than some of the neighboring towns. One focal point of Kentfield is Woodlands Market. Here, residents can do their grocery shopping at a local store that offers healthy, organic options, and enjoy a sit-down dining experience all in one trip: Fabulous sandwiches, an incredible array of gourmet delights, and even a remarkable selection of homeopathic remedies (and incredibly knowledgeable staff members to help with the remedies). Note: This specialty is serious superior service and deserves our 5-star, bell-ringing applause. 
 
But let’s face it, you haven’t really experienced Kentfield until you’ve gone to The Half Day Cafe for breakfast or lunch. Great setting, great food, great service. 
 
We love heading up to Crown Road for hiking with phenomenal views, gorgeous trees, and sun, sun, sun. Kentfield is also home to College of Marin, the No. 1 community college in California in 2020. We know it to offer great classes, even for continued education, and it also has a pool for summer fun! 
 
COM even has a notable baseball team with excellent players who go on to play D1 college ball and sometimes enter MLB. Try to catch one of the games on the beautiful field beside the Corte Madera Creek and Mt. Tam.
